In the first four months of the year there were a total of 14,098 home constructions completed in Spain, representing an increase of 2% year-on-year, according to data published by the Ministry of Public Works.

Stabilisation within the Spanish property sector is slowly spreading across the country, especially in coastal areas, according to Tinsa. For the fourth year running the independent valuation experts consulted a network of local appraisers on the Spanish holiday home market and found that property prices in many coastal areas are gradually increasing.
Property prices in Spain increased by 1.5% in June with prices increasing by as much as 3.6% in capitals and big cities, according to Tinsa.
