For years the Spanish housing market had been charactersied by rising house prices and increased demand for new properties. But the market is entering a more mature phase in its recovery and heading towards ‘normalization’ and ‘more sustainable growth rates’, says a report by Caixabank Research.

Just over 23% of all international tourists visiting Spain in June came from the UK, with over a quarter staying in Andalucia, new figures show. The latest tourism figures (released in June) show a year-on-year rise of 3.2% in foreign visitor numbers, following the first decline in nine months from the month before.
