Spanish property prices rose by 5.7% in December to €1,459/m2, one of the highest figures reached throughout the whole of 2018, according to the Spanish notaries. As well as rising house prices, the property market also saw positive increases in property sales and mortgage activity.

Positive house price trends are maintained as prices throughout the month of May climb. Property prices grew by 4.2% in May, and much like April figures it was the highest rise for that given month in eleven years, reports property valuation firm Tinsa.
